Journey of Reclaiming  Nłeʔkepmxcín

Xʷúsᐧxʷəs-tinek's journey of language reclamation has been filled with both challenges and triumphs. While she may not be a fluent speaker yet, each step she takes brings a deep sense of joy and fulfillment to her body, mind and spirit. Her path has not been easy, but the reward of reconnecting with her nearly extinct language, thus connecting her more deeply to her culture, has been profound and transformative. Her determination reflects a powerful commitment to preserving and celebrating her Indigenous culture while inspiring others to embark upon the same warrior's path.
